With the eccentric Gucci-esque style of Alessandro we are so familiar with, this collection brings back the eclectic minimalist essence that was once une qualité de la maison held before the minimalist and contemporary Pierpaolo. The clothes feature lots of fur detailing and a floral bohemian pattern, introducing retro remodelling of the V logo pattern and the streamlined formalist cut that was once prominent in the 1960s.

Yet through detailed observations, the essence of Valentino 70s jet-set chic in the pleated skirts and dresses is very much still eminent. Running through the collection, Valentino men and women are still reposit luxe and sophisticated, yet through Alessandro’s upgrade, gracefully free-spirited and elegant is the new disposition of the modern bohemian bourgeois.
